Statement: I see the world through a lens of creation, decay, and time. What is the experience of living in a temporary body, in the context of geological time, situated somewhere within the infinite? After my own time, I will leave behind my bones, my son, broken plastics, onion skins, peach pits, tissues in trash bags, the concrete foundation of my home - when I look at these, I see places for the past and future to overlap. Photography, drawing, painting, and sculpture have all provided possibilities to explore these themes, and a practice of sustained observation leads to images that are personal and unfixed.
